Then you negotiate a sales price with someone who wants to buy the property. So, in order not to be ripped off, you need to have an experienced person (like a real estate agent) give you the values (as is and ideal) of your property. Then you call those &quot;we buy houses&quot; investors and work out a deal with them. If you want to test the waters to see if you&#039;re dealing with an honest, ethical buyer, ask them &quot;how much is my home worth?&quot; and they should come close to what the real estate agent stated. If they stay quiet or do not answer this question honestly, tell them to go pound sand. Investors are being trained not to disclose value to the homeowners in hopes that that homeowner will low ball their own property.
