Has anyone purchase a short sell home or know the process of buying one?

My fiancé and I put an offer on a short sell home and are waiting for the bank to accept our offer. I was wondering what are the step does the bank go through before they accepted our offer? So far I know that the bank hired a negotiator and also a title company. Is that a good signed that they accepted our offer?
The house went pending subject to Lender approval and we are currently the only buyer that put in an offer.

How can you sale a house quick to get out of a really bad neighborhood?

My parents have lived in a house for more than 23 years and the neighborhood has really went down south. I truly worry about their safety. What can be done to get out of a house, that would be very hard to sale due to shady neighbors and in an area that police come frequently. They have 2 mortgages on their home and can pay for their monthly payments so would a short sale even be an option? Please help, any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

We are trying to relocate to set up a business, unfortunately the one thing stopping this is a house sale.
It has been on the market for two months now, we had a buyer who dropped out.
Have seen ‘Quick House Sale Companies’ on the Internet and wondered if anyone has used them.

Need to sell house but it has a collateral?

I am in process of selling my house but I later found out that my house has a collateral when I took out a personal loan. Can I still sell the house with the collateral even thought the loan has not been paid off yet? I don’t understand why they would put a collateral on my house when it has no equity at all.

How fast can you sell house that is quick deeded?

If i quick claim deed an investment house to my son how fast can he resell it? We have a buyer and need to turn it fast so he can buy a house with the cash. There is no mortgage on the property and will sell for $30.000. Does he have to register the deed and wait or can he resell it with another quick claim deed? Also if it is a gift he should not have to show it as an income or should we make a loan contract with him to pay us back?

How long do I have to wait to sell house to make money?

I just bought a house for an investment. I was going to rent it out. It has not closed yet. I now realize I made a huge mistake because person who was going to assist me emotionally and with a few renos has no intention of doing so. How long do I have to own the house to then sell and recoup the expenses?
True enough. I was thinking a few year s too. Live and learn I guess. So much for waiting 7 years to make the actual decision.
