is there something wrong with just one or two people living in a big house?

i rent a big 3 bedroom house. the girls i work with say i need a small apartment. seems silly to me. my rent is cheaper than their apartments and it’s not a dump. they say i’m taking a home away from a “real” family.

Well you say your rent is cheaper what about the utilities? Hope you dont pay alot for gas and electricity.. But if you like it stay put..Dont worry bout what anyone else says. You do what you want to do.

I think you should not listen to how others tell you to live. Financially it sounds as though it is a wise choice. A house can offer many features and qualities that an apartment can’t. Not to mention privacy.You have just as much right to rent than anyone else. Because a larger family” might” rent it would not be a guarantee that they would be better tenants.Sometimes there are too many people that like to tell others how they should live their lives. Best not to listen as they really have no right to say such things. It is indeed your life.

i don’t wht they think but i dont think the same az u r just utilizing the home for ur purpose and paying money to them which will help them in any way

Well people have opinions about lots of things, but you should do what makes you happy.
My wife and I have over 3000 sq. feet with 2 living areas, an office, 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, plus a basement in addition to that.
We like to have guests and parties and entertain as well. It is no one elses affair to say how much space you require or desire. If you can afford and it sounds like you can, enjoy it.
Don’t let them get you down!
Edit: Maybe they’re just a little jealous of your having that house. No matter, you live as you want!!
