College Students – How much do you pay for rent, what type of dwelling (apartment,house, etc.) how big a town?

And how many roommates do you have. Just curious. I lived in an apartment, with 5 other girls and paid $265 including utilities, smaller town, like 25k people, course that was about 5 years ago.

i pay $800 a month including utilities, it was a studio (no roommates), in Los Angeles right by UCLA.

I lived in a dorm. for $3500, I got 2 semesters in a 8×10 room (cell) with a jerk who stunk and stole from me, and free cable. Not advisable. I figured, I could do better, if I got a 2 bedroom apartment in Ann Arbor for $750/mo. with a roommate, I’d be much better off. Today, a 1 br will still run about $700, 2 br $800, and 3 br $950 in Ann Arbor. From there you can attend U-M, EMU, or WCC.

I pay $250 a month for a two bedroom, 1 and 1/2 bathroom, two story town house in a smaller college town.
